That sound, yes sound
Were sounds of pain I could hear then
As I stood on that day by her bed
Rub my feet, hold my hands she said to me
I did
Felt the final say of goodbye, Brother
Dry lips, lethargic as she lay down
mastectomy , radiation, chemo, CTPA scan
Vitamins, IV drip, cell boost all gone now
Nothing except for a once booming body
turned from brown to brown to dark
Scary, exhausted and racked
from attack by a spirit unknown
In that very month of awareness
I begged God, pleaded and prayed
Through many dangers , toils and snares
You’ve already come
T’was grace that brought you thus far
And grace will lead you home
Pray for her
Pray for her Mother
Pray for her Siblings
Pray for nieces and nephews
Pray for in-laws
Pray for all impacted by her love and care
When the broken hearted livin all agree
There will be an answer
For though we may be parted
There is still chance that we will meet again
Rest In Peace – Sister -

“The Best Mum in the World “
She played the role of a Mum to me than a sister Inlaw and I really appreciated it. She was Just! She was truthful and above all God fearing.
I will miss cooking together, the YouTube recipes we tried our hands and also your early morning jollof cravings. Even in your sickness, Samira had the opportunity to enjoy the “Auntie Mariama experience” as each child of the family has or better still she attended “ Auntie Mariama Night/Daycare school “ even tho she didn’t graduate 😊.May the good Lord give you Eternal Rest 🙏 and thank you for all the advices you gave 🙏 you will forever be missed . -
