Charles and Melissa, Mamaa is always with you, she is the smell of certain foods you remember. She is the cool hand on your brow when you are not feeling well. She is the place you came from, your first home, she is the map you follow with every step you take. She was your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space….. Not even death. Memories are there to remind us of the things that have gone before. There is something about losing a mother that is permanent and inexpressible—– A wound that will never quite heal. Mamaa was always pleasant to me and would ask, how are you Brazi with the most beautiful smile. Will also miss our political debates. Rest in Peace Mamaa until we meet again.

    Habakkuk 3:17-14
Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; thought the labor of the Olive May fail, and the fields yield no fruits; though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no heard in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD; I will rejoice in the GOD of my salvation!!!

We choose to bless the LORD, because HIS WORD is true. As the LORD gives the grace, with all that is in our hearts ♥️, we choose to bless the LORD.

Even in the darkest our, through the sorrow and the pain, we choose to bless the LORD, because you gave your life to CHRIST.

    Rest In Peace Mémé.

Maud was a Lady. She was pretty, witty and very honest.
I have really lost a great faithful friend.
I thank you for the Love you have shown me.But it is time you travel on alone. It is only for a while that we must part.Hence I cherish the memories.

  15. Obi Odemena. - August 14, 2020 reply

In memory of a great and kind hearted woman who I had the privilege of meeting. The welcoming smile that was infectious, the motherly care and advice that she gave to ALL that came her way. She treated all like she’ll treat her own children. Mama rest in peace. I am consoled by the Bible in 1 Corinthians 15:15 which says “ O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which give the us the victory through our lord Jesus Christ.

In loving memory of my second mum ❤. You were very kind to me each time I had sleep overs with my siblings at your Dansoman residence, some 30+ years ago. You treated me just like one of your own and I have never forgotten that mum. Rest in peace and in Abraham’s bosom. God will watch over Charles, Melissa and their families. He is faithful.

  17. Kwame Andah - August 13, 2020 reply

You were our mother, very warm and humorous. You opened up your household to us. We loved coming over and watching movies on your VHS recorder. Melissa seemed to have all the new music videos 🙂 We celebrate your life. You will forever remain in our hearts 💕♥. Rest in wonderful peace.

  18. Karl Andah - August 13, 2020 reply

I first met Auntie Maud when I was some 12 year old boy who had just relocated to Abidjan with my folks. Our house and theirs was some 3 minutes apart. So as it goes I grew up in her household since Charles always wanted me there to listen to Beat I by Michael Jackson.
My other mother is gone to heaven. May her soul rest in perfect peace. God bless till we meet again. Amen

I recall seeing Mrs Claude-Ennin from afar at an event fairly recently and remember thinking to myself how remarkable she looked. I hadn’t seen her since the late 1980s. Tall, elegant and moving with such poise and grace, despite her advanced years.

Her children are a credit to her and we mourn with them and the wider family. May she rest in the eternal peace of The Lord.
